Individual Therapy
Consist of One-on-One sessions with your therapist. This therapy the can be supplemented with joint sessions with you and another person if needed from time to time.
Group Therapy
Consists of a group of individuals with a shared goal or desired outcome from the therapeutic process. Participants are engaged in a group setting at the same time with the therapist and are encouraged to engage with each other while the therapist directs the process.
Family/Couples Therapy
Typically this involves multiple family members or couples looking to improve communication, identify areas of concern in their family process or can be an off shoot of individual therapy if family/couple struggles are identified and cannot be addressed with an individual alone.
Video Sessions
All therapy styles mentioned can be incorporated through video sessions, but there maybe limits to how effective this can be with some styles such as family/couples therapy sessions. Consult with your therapist about what may be most beneficial for your needs.
